Digital Marketing Lead

We are hiring! True Digital Communications is looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is part strategist, part researcher, part advertiser, part analyst and numbers-cruncher, part teacher, and wholly, an effective communicator. As a key player on True’s leadership team, this position works closely with True’s Account Service and Creative Content teams to set digital strategy for True’s clients based on their business goals and objectives. This role is also responsible for overseeing True’s internal digital advertising team and establishing internal processes based on industry best practices to effectively support the management, optimization and reporting of our clients’ paid advertising efforts, ensuring we are driving value and hitting our established KPIs. Furthermore, this position also takes an active strategic role in developing and nurturing new business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of True’s Digital Advertising team
  • Setting digital strategy and presenting formal recommendations to clients
  • Research, analyzing data and trends
  • Staying on top of industry trends, best practices, tools/platforms and integrating into True’s processes accordingly
  • Establishing reporting standards, metrics and KPIs that align with clients’ goals and objectives
  • Coaching and growing Digital team members
  • Oversight of client paid advertising programs, projects and digital strategy
  • Hands-on tactical management and execution of digital strategy for key client accounts
  • Collaborating with Account Service and Creative Content teams to develop tactical plans that align with strategy and present recommendations to clients for improved performance
  • New business development and support through strategy development and presentation to clients
  • Supporting True’s internal marketing efforts through content development and paid promotion
  • Developing and expanding True’s current digital marketing capabilities and services based on identified opportunities with clients’ and industry trends
  • Additional responsibilities may be added based on the experience, skills and interests of the employee in the role

Requirements: 

  • Producing financial and media plans and forecasts; managing media budgets
  • Competitor and media / keyword research
  • Report development including analyzing and interpreting campaign and website conversion data
  • Liaising with clients, internal team and advertising representatives
  • Managing and leading a digital team
  • Demonstrated proficiency with digital marketing tools including:
      - Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager / Google Data Studio
      - Google Adwords including Search, Display, Audiences and Advanced targeting tactics
      - Display advertising platforms
      - Search engine marketing
      - DialogTech
      - Facebook / Instagram Advertising and Insights
      - Twitter Advertising and Analytics,
      - LinkedIn Advertising and Organic Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications (or a related field)
  • Qualified candidates will generally have 7-10 years of hands-on digital marketing experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel or comparable data analysis tools
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is required
  • Experience with onsite, offsite and technical SEO preferred
  • Familiarity with marketing automation
  • Agency experience required
